Martin Renaud is member of the C.A.H.P.I. Atlantic « Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspector », A.I.Q.B. « l’Association des Inspecteurs en Bâtiment du Québec » (membership number 20374) and ASHI «The American Society of Home Inspectors» (membership number 250978) and he is governed by the code of ethics of these Associations that requires that its inspectors show integrity and impartiality towards its client.
Martin Renaud has been working in the construction business for over 30 years. Since he was 13 years old, his father, also a carpenter was his greatest mentor. The first rule, according to his father, was that any work to be done needed to be well done, from the start. Martin Renaud at 17, he was operating his first renovation business. Later on, he worked for a construction company that built new homes.
At 24, he made his debut as a deep sea diver, doing under water construction and inspection until he was 32. He then worked at Bombardier aeronautics for 7 years. Following an injury, he decided to become a building inspector. He worked as a building inspector for a company. He then received extensive training at Grasset Institute in building code, electricity, plumbing, heating, ventilation, insulation, building structure, real estate law, etc. He has been a graduate of this institute since 2005. He founded his own business (INSPECTECH MR), which has been expanding ever since. In 2010 for family reason he decided to move to Moncton, New Brunswick and restart a new company PRO-INSPECT MR.
Martin Renaud is a RHI (register home inspector) of the A.I.B.Q. - A.S.H.I. and CAHPI Atlantic as associate member. He receive is National Certification in 2009. He is also certified as an energy advisor from the Hydro Quebec «RENOCLIMAT» and «ECOENERGY» from the federal program. In 2010 he certified as an infrared technician from ITC (infrared training center). He is always up-to-date in terms of continuing education. «Certificate on the impact of oil products on the value of a home, Certificate on the impact of houses used to grow narcotics». He participates in conferences and seminars offered by the C.A.H.P.I., A.S.H.I. and A.I.B.Q the A certain number of requirements must be filled to become a member of the Association and must be maintained. These strict and numerous requirements are the foundation of the C.A.H.P.I.'s, A.S.H.I. and the A.I.B.Q good reputation.
An inspector's work is the fruit of unique experience and discipline that requires training, knowledge and special skills, different from those that are required by other building professionals.
